Jack Dykstra

Jack Dykstra began his formal art education at age 17, earning an AA, and completing a BA in Commercial Art at San Jose State University, with MBA studies at the University of Montana. Experienced in graphic design, illustration, creative and advertising agency management, painting in watercolor and oils remains a life long commitment. Having first-hand knowledge of railroads at the end of steam, painting trains of all eras, along with plein air landscapes, is a passion. Member: Montana Watercolor Society; Railway & Locomotive Historical Society; and co-founder of the Montana Museum of Railroad History.
